"Reasonable Commercial Best Efforts" or
"reasonable commercial efforts" are a modification of a standard contract term to use "best efforts".
"Best efforts” is a standard for the performance of an obligation under an agreement. It is intended as a high standard that may require performance of a contract obligation regardless of the cost involved.
"Reasonable commercial efforts" is a lower standard that may excuse performance of an obligation if the costs involved were excessive by reference to a standard of reasonableness.
