Re: liability release forms
Hello:
You will need to consult a lawyer in your province to draft a Release of Claims from your prior partner. The document should describe the partnership and the specify the date on which your partnership interest ceased.
You should also consider obtaining an indemnity from the other partner that would require him to reimburse you from any claims made against you after you have been released.
