Personal loan

Can someone that gave a personal loan to me with no written agreement get my pay garnished or sue me. I have agreed to pay him back but he is threatening to go to my work and collections agency and revenue canada?

In British Columbia and in any other Province they can sue you, and if they get judgment they can garnishee your pay. Contracts for loans do not need to be, and frequently are not, in writing. He may hire a collection agency to sue, or garnish if he gets judgment, or both. We do not see what Revenue Canada has to do with it.
