Is there a UCC 1 Canadian Equivalent

How can I secure assets sent and sold in Canada? Is there a law or method of doing this similar to the US UCC1?

The equipment was sold to a company in the US and they then leased it to their new company in Canada. I have filed a UCC1 on the company it was sold to in the US. There is an existing UCC1 from a bank that has a catch all statement that their filing covers any thing that comes into their possession.
