Re: using false documents to obtain a loan
This is a matter of police discretion. I suppose a financial institution is the alleged victim of the fraud? If this is the case, and they have been paid back in full, I personally see little motivation for the alleged victim to want to pursue the matter.
The police may decide to lay charges nevertheless. Although, when the alleged victim is satisfied with the situation as it is, the police may decide not to take it further.
Should they lay charges, the matter would then be between the hands of prosecutor, who may decide not to authorize the charges given the disinterest of the alleged victim and the fact that there is no suffered loss.
If you are however a person who has previous convictions, especially in similar matters, or that there are other aggrevating factors, then they may decide otherwise.
Best of luck!
