Legal Question in Criminal Law in Canada

Sexual Assault

Recently on a group trip to Jamaica, the group leader, canadian citizen, age 75, made unwanted sexual advances toward me. He forcefully stuck his tongue in my mouth and proceded to make sexual coments and moves toward me. Is there any legal recourse I can take (ie: civil suit...?). I know that I don't have the evidence for a criminal case against him, but I want some action to be done. If legal action can be taken, what and where are my next steps?

Re: Sexual Assault

Yes, you have legal recourse in a civil action. The suit would be for sexual harassment and for assault. If you are a U.S. citizen, you can sue in federal court. For more info: contact James Kats at (718) 273-6229 OR [email protected].
