What happens if you go to court and the Judge does not show up?

The non-attendance of a participant in a criminal proceeding, a prosecutor, defence counsel, witness or other person, frequently results in a delay. However, it is not often that a delay will result in a charge being dismissed or withdrawn. Another judge can easily be substituted.
