is it a conflict, if a family member ( lawyer ) represents the person in court. 2. can i change an order if i did not understand what i was agreeing too. i, have no council.

This question has been direcvted to a British Columbia law firm and will be answered with reference to B.C. law.

1. Conflict; You have not given enough information to provide a specific answer; it depends on several factors, but as a general statement, no it is not a conflict of interest to represent for a lawyer to represent a family member, unless certain other factors exist.

2. Generally, your lack of understanding of what you were agreeing to does not alow you to obtaina change of the Order; if thee was deception, lying, or mental defect involved or if you can not read/write, and sometimes if you were in some way prevented from seeking legal advice, then maybe. However if you were advised you could seek legal advice and simply did not do so, then you can't normally claim lack of legal advice as a reason to have the Order changed.
