Legal Question in Family Law in Canada
My 26 yr old son has a 5 yr old son of his own, he and his girlfriend have been separated now for well over a year. My son has his son every other week. the girlfriend has now taken my grandson with no notice and moved away with him...... is there anything we can do about this?

We presume that you and your son both want contact with your grandson. You have not said if your son's access was pursuant to an informal arrangement, a formal agreement or court order. If either of the latter two, then it is likely that the Supreme Court of British Columbia would order a return; if the first, then you still have to go to Court, but the process is different. Please see a lawyer.
