Now my parents have doubt that may be i got court marriage done in canada . So just to varify this with me they want to get an affivavit from me saying that '' i am not never married till date '' and they told me not to put date alongwith my signatures as they want to put it from their own .

my question is if in future i really get marry to the guy and go to india and the my family present that affidavit signed by me to the court( filling date by their own) , am i be punished for giving false information in affidavit ?

Re: Affidavit without date

Anywhere in Canada you may be punished if you swear a false affidavit. To do so is a criminal offence. As to the law in India you must consult a lawyer who is qualified to practice in that country.
