Legal Question in Family Law in Canada

child support

I have a child with this guy who from the beginning want nothing to do with her wanted my to abort or miscarry her,I'm on Ontario works and they are making me go after him for support and im very scared that he will want visitation and it has happened before

that the child has been killed or kidnapped, i want to know if i have to go after him for support or not

You do if you want any sort of social financial assistance; in return for the benefit of social welfare, you assign all of your rights about collecting support to the government. If you want the benefit of assistance from the taxpayers, you have the obligation to assist in lessening the burden of your support on the taxpayers. Further, the father is entitled to access should he wish it, completely independent of whether or not he pays child support. The child is only half yours; he has as much right as you.
