Re: Child support

We do not have any entity called FRO in British Columbia; however the Family Maintenance Program does the collection of support in B.C. If your arrangement was under a court ordder or an agreement filed with the court, then they should have stopped collecting when the child ceased to be a child of the marriage; i.e. when the child turned 19 unless the child was still in school (Community College, Trade School or University). In the case of an Order or registered agreement it is normally your responsibility to go to court at the time the support should cease and ask the court to order it ended. If you don't then most likely you don't get paid back.
