Re: in regards to interm cousdty

This answer applies only in British Columbia. It may or may not be similar in other Provinces. A great deal depends on factors you have not given, such as the age of the child, the history of any abuse or mistreatment, if any, whether or not there has been alcohol or drug abuse, and others. In British Colubmia you can apply to the Court with evidence to show that the factors your husband relied on to obtain interim custody are false (if they are, and ask the B.C. Supreme Court or the Provincial Court of B.C. to reverse custody or grant you unsupervised access. You should consult a lawyer; if you do not know of one, you can call the B.C. branch of the Canadian Bar Association who can refer you to a lawyer who will charge a minimal fee for a first consultation. You dind their phone number in the yellow pages under "lawyers" for Canadian Bar Association.
