joint income

my boyfriend and I are planning on getting married but he has to submit his income every January and have his child support payments adjusted.Once we are married does my income get taken into effect when child suport amounts are being set.

In British Columbia, your income is not directly relevant to determining the amount of child support he will pay, but if he claims the guideline level of support is too much, and hardship will result , then your income will be used in what is called "relative standards of income" test to determine if hardship exists.
