Legal Question in Family Law in Canada

Kicked out of my home

I'm a 19 years old male and I reside in Calgary, Alberta Canada. I have been forced to move out of my home by my parents with no warning and I am living out of friends houses right now until I save enough money for rent. I am currently employed and am upgrading my school marks for school next year. Is there any way to make my parents help me out with my first few rent payments or something similar?

No, you are an adult and one of the privileges of adulthood is to make it on your own. If you were in school full time, then after a full examination of your income and ability to contribute to your own expenses, it might be possible to make an application to a court for an order that your parents assist you - but you have to take at least part-time work, apply for scholarships and bursaries and try your best to contribute to your own expenses first, and in Alberta you must be enrolled full-time.
