We presume that there a a court order concerning access; to obtain more or diffeent acccess you will have to apply to vary it, but where you will do so depends to some extent on in which Province the order was made, how old it is, what the specific terms of it are, the circumstances of why your child is in BC now and why you are in Alberta (i.e. was there a court-sanctioned move of the child or not, for one), and a number of other factors.
