Legal Question in Family Law in Canada
I live in alberta and my daughter is in B.C. how do I get her more then just in the summer. Is alberta law different then B.C. laws

Yes, Alberta and BC law do differ from each other in some respects, but whether or not in a way that affects your situation can not be answered for 2 reasons: 1 - you have not given enough facts and 2 - our firm is not licenced to practice in Alberta so can not give an opinion on Alberta law. We presume that there a a court order concerning access; to obtain more or diffeent acccess you will have to apply to vary it, but where you will do so depends to some extent on in which Province the order was made, how old it is, what the specific terms of it are, the circumstances of why your child is in BC now and why you are in Alberta (i.e. was there a court-sanctioned move of the child or not, for one), and a number of other factors.
