long term benefits
I pay every month child support. when i get my long term disibility award will that be taken from me or can i fight this ? I am working full time right now. this disibilty award is from workers compensation board.

Yes, in B.C. your LTD is attachable to pay child support. If your income will change because of receipt of Long Term Disability (not everyone's income does change significantly), you should make application to vary the child support order. If you can not afford a lawyer, you can apply for assistance through Legal Aid. There is a Legal Aid office in your community; the number and address are in the Telus phone book under "lawyers".
