Legal Question in Family Law in Canada

Named in will?????

I was left money by a friend,in his will, he died over 1 year ago, is it too soon for me to be notified,I have heard nothing. Thanks.

It depends on the Province; in B.C. you should have been notified by sending you various documents including a copy of the will. In other Provinces I can not say as the law varies from Province to Province. You should consult a lawyer.
