how long after a divorce can you go back and sue for spouces pension?

It depends on the Province or Territory; property division is a Provincial, not a Federal, area of jurisdiction. In British Columbia the time limit is generally 2 years after divorce, order for judicial separation or order declaring the marriage null & void. There are exceptions and the inquirer is advised to seek the advice of a lawyer with specific reference to the particular facts of the situation.
