Child supsport is never determined on a percentage-of-income basis in any Province in Canada; child support is based on the Federa Child Support Guidelines. Google them and choose the appropriate Province/Territory, the number of children, and then look at the amount of income (it is GROSS income of the paying parent , NOT takehome that counts). The table will tell you how much is to be paid in basic child support. Support for extraordinary expenses over and above basic support is extra, and is bases on the proportion of income that the payor's income bears to the combined income of both spouses.
