am i required to pay child support for my son, (age 19) not attending post secondary, but still residing with his mother?

Assuming there is a child support order in place, you should apply to have child support terminated instead of simply stopping paying, but generally if there is no physical or mental handicap scuh tha the child is unable to withdraw from parental control, in British Columbia you are not required to pay child support once a child turns 19.
