Legal Question in Family Law in Canada
What rights do I have a parent who has legal joint custody? My son was not returned to me after his last visit with his mother. She has filed an abuse complaint and accused me of spanking my son and leaving a hand print on his buttocks. I was informed by the police that they are investigating the allegation but have not charged me. My son's mother has since obtained a court order forbidding me from having any contact with my son. What are my options. i do not and did not spank my son.
