Re: spousal support

In all Provinces & Territories of Canada, your child support is based on your gross income, and is in an amount set according to the Child Support Guidelines. You may be able to claim "hardship"; this is NOT a claim that child support is too much, but is an arithmentical calculation set out in the Child Support Guidelines based on a number of factors; it is probably too complex for you do deal with. You do not say what Province you work in and so other than advising you that you can't afford not to see a lawyer, we can do nothing else for you.
