Re: spouse entitlement

In British Columbia both parties to a long term relationship are generally entitled to share the assets and quite possibly support. There are a number of other factors that must be examined before a definite answer can be given. Please consult the B.C. Branch of the Canadian Bar Association's referral service for a lawyer in your B.C. community who can give a low-cost initial consultation. The number is found in the Telus phone book under "Lawyers".
