Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Canada
Noise Complaint Laws and Criminal Records
Some friends and I were having a party at my place, and the police came over about a noise complaint. They asked for my ID, I showed it to them. They warned us about making too much noise and no tickets were issued.
Would this be enough to have a criminal record be opened?

Re: Noise Complaint Laws and Criminal Records
Absolutely not. A criminal record would only result from charges and a conviction on those charges in court. You have nothing to worry about.
