Citizenship

I renounced my american citizenship in 1961.

Are there any ways to be reinstated?

Re: Citizenship

Re-acquisition of citizenship is one of my specialties. Where did you renounce your citizenship? Did you actually go to a consulate/embassy and sign a form renouncing citizenship? How old were you and what were the circumstances? What contacts have you maintained with the U.S.? Do you have any family remaining in the U.S.?
