Are you aloud to get across the boarder if you have committed a felon, misdemenor etc?

While I would need more details about the specific situation, it would generally not be advisable to travel outside the country if either a misdemeanor or a felony has been committed. Criminal convictions have very severe consequences for immigration purposes. People with criminal convictions eventually get placed in removal proceedings and may or may not be eligible for relief depending on what kind of a conviction is involved. Traveling outside the United States would cause additional problems, such as being subject to inadmissibility upon return and being detained by the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
