Legal Question in Intellectual Property in Canada
I'm a photographer and graphic designer in London, Ontario (Canada), and some guy in Vancouver, BC (Canada), who is also a photographer and graphic designer, has edited several of my photos (of a particular model from a couple of my photo shoots) to use in his own work. He's even using a couple of my photos to advertise for his services! He never got permission from me or the model to use my photos. I'm assuming I can sue him, but I don't have the funds to go to BC to file a claim. What can I do about this?

Hi,
You can file a claim in the Federal Court of Canada; there is an office in Toronto.
