Legal Question in Investment Law in Canada
profiting from ownership of something
I have a friend in Canada who owns something valuable that isn't real estate. Is there a way for him to profit simply from ownership of the thing--e.g. can it help him borrow more, or can he use it in some way connected to investment, or is there any way, apart from renting or selling it, for him to profit simply from owning it?

Your question is far too vague to be answered properly. If you would like to email our Law Firm with much better details, we should be able to legally assist you/your friend from there.
