Legal Question in Employment Law in Canada
Being Laid Off
I left a job in September 2000 to work as a full time Project Director with my current employer. The project was expected to be funded for 3 to 5 years, after 1 year funding has been stopped by our parent company.
They are helping our team to find jobs within the company, but that will end shortly.
As a Director level position within this large company what should I expect as severance, and what should I negotiate if I am unable to find work within the company.
Thank you.
