Legal Question in Employment Law in Canada
sexuall discrimination
At my place of employment ,Where I have worked for 12 years for this company. I am the only female to work on the shift. there was a new job that was installed. I am a lumber grader and was wanting to be trained on this new lumber grading job. I was told no. the other employees were trained. they all had less than 4 years work experience with this company. Thay were all paid to train on the new job. I was told that If i wanted to train they would not pay me. All other employees are male.

Re: sexuall discrimination
From your brief summary of the facts, you may have a bona fide discrimination claim based on "sex" as you were not treated equally to that of your "male" coworkers.
