Legal Question in Personal Injury in Canada

Im a 19 year old female.

I was in a car accident a month ago. My friend was driving and i was the passanger in his car. When i went to ask for the insurance slip i found out that there wasnt insurance and i NEED physio. The police werent called because my friend settled it with the other driver that rear ended us!

Ive never been in this situation and im in serious need of help!

What are my options?

First call the Insurance Corporation of British Columbia toll-free claim number; it is toll-free from anywhere in B.C. Make a claim. It is difficult but not impossible to drive without insurance in B.C. Your friend may well face consequences for driving without insuarance, but that is not your fault; he or she was simply irresponsible. Then you should contact a lawyer who practices personal injury law in the area where you reside; as you did not give a postal code we do not know where in British Columbia you live so can not make any recommendations.
