Legal Question in Personal Injury in Canada

I bought a steak (pre packaged) from Dominion in Ontario. A friend and I shared the steak, cutting it into two pieces. My friend was chewing her steak but could taste blood in her mouth. She felt something sharp and pulled out a piece of glass. I do undertand that this could be serious to you internal organs, as we could have swallowed a few more pieces not knowing, if they were smaller.

What legal advise can you give us?
