Re: Personal injury

If you do decide to investigate your legal options, you would benefit from contacting a personal injury lawyer.

In terms of documentation, the most important thing you should do is have someone look at your injuries and report on them. I would recommend visiting your family doctor ASAP, and perhaps he/she will recommend that you see a specialist (ie. gynecologist)

It would also be beneficial if you had some information about the spa (ie. a receipt, or any information about the person who performed the Brazilian wax - hang onto that information.)

If you are set on bringing an action against the spa for your injuries, you should consult with a personal injury lawyer.

Please be aware that in order to bring a successful claim in tort for your injuries, you would have to demonstrate liability and damages. This means that you would have to show that the injuries were caused by the negligence of the spa (and their employee), and that you have suffered injuries from this negligence.

Whether or not you decide to bring an action may depend on the severity of the injury. If the injury is something that will go away quickly and will not have any lasting effects, your likelihood of recovering financial compensation may be minimal.
