Re: commom law dies cannot find a will what are my rights
A common law spouse does not have any rights to property of the deceased spouse. If the CL spouse died intestate (without a will) little else can be done. If a will is found that purports to provide property to the CL spouse, then it will govern what property the deceased wished to provide to the CL spouse.
