Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Canada

Co executor not responding

I am the co-executor of my Mothers estate who lived in Montreal, Canada. My brother who also lives currently in Montreal is the other Co-executor. I live in Cleveland , Ohio.

We are almost complete with the estate, however there are still funds left to be dispursed that are currently in a bank in Montreal. According to our final accounting report by our accountant, my brother, the Co-executor owes approx. $5000.00 back to the estate and really has no other dispursement coming to him from what is left. So, after numerous attempts, by email, phone calls, leaving messages on his voice mail machine etc., I would like some professional advice on how to proceed to close the estate once and for all.
