Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Canada

Last Will and testament

My father is from Saint John, New Brunswick and recently passed away. He has a companion that he has known for 16 years , yet they did not live together.She says there is a will and everything was left to her , and no questions asked. She will not send a copy, and I have no way of going to Canada. I need to know how to obtain a copy of this will. Any information you can provide would be great. Thank Yoy for your time.

You need to engage a lawyer that practices probate law in the province where your father lived.

I suggest you search in www.martindale.com for such an attorney. Martindale-Hubbell lists virtually all attorneys in the U.S. and Canada, and most other countries as well.
