Legal Question in Business Law in China
Hello,
We have a question in relation to manufacturing in China. The question is who is considered to be a producer in China? In other words, does a manufacturer have to be 100% involved in the production of a product in order to be called the producer of that product? Or can it be partially involved in the production of the product and hire someone else for remaining half and still be called as the producer of the product?
Thanks for your time and sorry if it was not question relevant to you.

Hello,
If you asked this question to get an idea of the nature of your counterparty, then it's simple, just see whether it states "manufacturing/producing" in its business license. Or I can check it for you if you give me the name of the company.
If you asked this question for other reasons, for instance, to label the producer of a product, then I have to know more details, including, what kind of product it is, how the production will be outsourced.
If it's for another reason you asked this question, I have to know more information too.
The question asked is too vague to get a clear answer. We need know the specific situation to identify who is the producer.
