Legal Question in Consumer Law in China
I have a contract with a party that provides me a service. If they fail to perform their obligations and I am forced to engage another party but this new party causes damage can the initial party to the contract be liable?

The initial party is not liable for the new party's fault.The damage caused by the new party should be compensated by the new party.But you can recover your loss the initial party caused by their non-performance,i.e. the fee that you spent in engaging the new party.
