Bad Checks
I was issued a $5000.00 check on an account, from Colorado, that had been previously closed. Is this a felony? Can I press charges?

Yes, and not likely. The crim.case is up to pros. Auth and that amount not likely to be given priority.
Your civil remedy may be better shot.
