Legal Question in Banking Law in Colorado
Escrow check needs endorsement
I have an escrow check that is made out to both myself AND my x-wife for $900. She won't endorse it because she does not want to split the dollars. Is there any legal means to force her to endorse a check she does not want to endorse? I know the bank can't force her.

If she won't sign, you will need either a court order or the issuer to cut 2 new checks (one for each of you.) Good luck.
