Mortgage and bankruptcy
We filed a Chapter 7, and it has been discharged. What happens to our mortgage since we did not re- affirm the loan. We do not want the house.
Thank you

Re: Mortgage and bankruptcy
You must surrender the proprty to the mortgage holders.
The mortgage, to the extent disclosed in the Petition and provided no fraud or other misconduct is established, is also discharged provided you have complied with the provisions of the Bankruptcy Code
