Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Colorado
Potential civil lawsuit regarding planned filing
With the remote possibility of a civil lawsuit against me and no filing of such to date, can it be addressed in any way with a planned Chapter 7 or if a civil case is filed but no judgement has been entered can a pending case be listed in any way to a Chapter 7. Thanks

Yes and no. You should wait to file the bk until after the lawsuit is filed and served on you. A person could wait until after you file and are discharged to bring the suit. If that happens and unless you have listed him as a creditor, you may loss your ability to have the debt discharged.
