Legal Question in Business Law in Colorado
Same Claims/Cases in Two differnt Courts
Is it allowed for a Plaintiff to bring the same claims against a defendant in two different district courts?
The claims are are related to a period of business engagement I had with Plaintiff. Trial have been set in both cases but I would like to get one dismissed and not sure how other then lack of evidence. Any help would be much appreciated.

Re: Same Claims/Cases in Two different Courts
Hello,
It is absolutely impossible to advise on your matter without review of the pleadings and additional facts about the claims. As to dismissal, you need to be precise about the basis to dismiss and there could be any number of possible motions that may apply. Once again, without having all pleadings and additional information, it is impossible to say.
I would advise that you contact an attorney to assist you in review. You can still proceed pro se if that is your desire, but having experienced counsel to advise you will be extremely helpful.
