Legal Question in Business Law in Colorado
collecting on a promissory note
I sold a business to someone in Colorado (I'm in Ky, now) and she continually defaults on her weekly payment. What are my options?

Re: collecting on a promissory note
Morning,
You need to review the agreement and the promissory note to determine your rights. Generally, you will need to sue the party in Colorado.
There is no way to know about your options unless you contact a Colorado attorney (assuming the agreement and note are under CO law) and they review all the documents and facts. Feel free to email if you have questions.
