Legal Question in Business Law in Colorado
Contracts
We are a business that signed a contract with the previous owner of a business for a year. They are currently under new ownership and want to cancel the contract. How obligated are they to honor the yearly contract?
Thanks
Alicia

Re: Contracts
It depends on what the contract says. Normally, if there was a written contract which lasted a year, it would be enforceable. However, there may be particular provisions in your contract that allow an out.
