Legal Question in Business Law in Colorado
Garnishing wages - Collecting $ when win settlement
I won a settlement - in small claims court - and I am trying to collect. I collected a very small sum from the bank he cashed my check at, but I haven't been able to find out where else to get my money from.
I work in investigations and I found that he has no assets, it looks like he doesn't own his home, cars or anything else. He works for himself.
Is there anything else I can do?

Re: Garnishing wages - Collecting $ when win settlement
You can take his deposition to learn whether or not he has any assets, including debts that may be owed to him or any interest he may have in any entity, property, accounts, etc. You can also serve his employer with a writ of garnishment to attach his wages.
