Harrassment in workplace

for the past year and a half, I have been verbally harassed by someone at work, I have brought this up to management's attention 6 times now, and they tell me to grow a back bone. It's getting to the point now that this person is employee is digging into my personal life, and management i now ignoring me, treating me unfairly. I am unsure on what to do now, its so bad that I don't want to work there anymore
