Independent contractors
I want to fire an independent contractor that works at my salon. What are my right and/or ramifications as the owner?

Re: Independent contractors
What does the written agreement provide? Also, is the person truly an independent contractor (the fact that you term them as such is not that relevant)? If they are not, then the rules as to at-will employment and the exceptions apply.
You should talk to an attorney because it is impossible to provide advice on this matter without considerably more information. Good luck.
