Legal Question in Business Law in Colorado
Lease Contract
I signed a lease contract for my company to accept credit cards. The company that provided the service stop me from accepting credit cards and closed my account. I have been paying $40.00 a month for the lease and fell behind when I closed my bank account as my business slowed due to the economy. I was not making enough money to pay off my bills and in August of last year was able to get enrolled with a Credit Counseling firm to help pay off my debts. I am sending $40.00 a month and the company is wanting more money which I do not have, as my company went out of business. What is my legal ground to stop harrassment as I am trying to pay off my bills?
